…We were particularly amazed when thousands, then tens of thousands of people began creating their own personal Star Trek adventures. Stories, and paintings, and sculptures, and cookbooks. And songs, and poems, and fashions. And more. The list is still growing. It took some time for us to fully understand and appreciate what these people were saying. Eventually we realized that there is no more profound way in which people could express what Star Trek has meant to them than by creating their own very personal Star Trek things. Because I am a writer, it was their Star Trek stories that especially gratified me. I have seen these writings in dog-eared notebooks of fans who didn’t look old enough to spell ‘cat.’ I have seen them in meticulously produced fanzines, complete with excellent artwork. Some of it has even been done by professional writers, and much of it has come from those clearly on their way to becoming professional writers. Best of all, all of it was plainly done with love…. That is the highest compliment and the greatest repayment that they could give us.

Okay so, I’ve been reading lots of awesome Thorki fics and reccing so I decided to make a post of all my thor/loki recs for easier access, instead of having to browse my recs tag. This will be updated frequently! If I make a post of avenger recs, I’ll add those new recs into this list.
Divided into categories:
Movieverse: Thor (Pre-movie, during movie, post-thor with no avengers); Post-Avengers, Avengers!AU (post-thor with avengers but ignoring movie!canon), Alternate Universe: Canon!AU (I don’t even know what to call this category. Different meeting? These are mostly the ones where Loki was raised in Jotunheim but also a few what ifs), Human!AU, GEN, and RPF (Because Hiddlesworth is awesome).

Blaine: Did you know that real Warblers won't sing alone? It's true - if a Warbler loses it's flock or is caged seperately it sits silent until another one shows up. (He looks at Kurt). It's not that he doesn't have a beautiful voice - it's just that without a companion he just doesn't feel like singing anymore.
Blaine: There is a moment, Kurt. There is always a moment when suddenly a lightbulb goes on. A moment when you look at someone differently... When your heart expands, when you say to yourself - 'oh, there you are! I've been looking for you forever.'
Blaine: To always love you. To defend you even if I know you're wrong. To surprise you. To always pick up your call no matter what I'm doing. To bake you cookies at least twice a year and to kiss you whenever and where ever you want. Mostly to make sure that you always remember how perfectly imperfect you are. I know it's not something Elizabeth Taylor would've worn---
